NOTES: Kirtland's Warbler #10 No. songs :lllll(partial songs)lllliiiiiiiii(chips) /(1.30) lll(p.s.)lllllll(chips) /(2.40) llll(p.s.) llll /(3.30) lll /(3.55) unusual song pattern Recorded about noon; playback used; bird not very eager to sing - probably at edge of territory. Also heard: Nashville warbler, field sp. Q 1-2 [This recording combines what appear to be 12 "partial songs" (only the introductory notes), 10 chip notes (1:19-1:38, 2:365-2:405), and 16 relatively typical songs (though still variable in the number of concluding notes). The full songs are of a song type much like those in most other recordings. I am less sure about the context of the lone call at 3:335, but it does appear to have been given by the warbler. Quality added (1-2, 2-1 - quite good in general but signal weak for many of the partial songs especially) - CAM - 13 July 2005].
