NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 16. Bulk reel: 70; Extra cut length: 5:09203 tape.1930 hours to ~ 2030 hours. Continuous series hoots by female and ~ normal phrase type by male, both birds "hoarse;" this is in reaction to playback of a small part of field tape. Quality: 1. Level: -3. 3 3/4 ips.The focus then shifted to the male; in background the female changes to normal-type phrase. Quality: 1. Level: -3.Then the female in focus, normal-type phrases; this is ~20' later. Quality: 1. Level: -3.This continues @ 7.5 (but female changed position?) and some calls of Otus albogularis are also given, apparently triggered by the Ciccaba!!! Quality: 1. Level: 0. 7.5ips.Then the Ciccaba female sings alone, normal-type phrases which are ~ normal in quality. (Some print-through.) The recording continues with female (presumed) singing normal-type phrases, now ~ 20' after more playback. Quality: 1. Level: 0.At end, some phrases are recorded with the reflector ~ 30¡ off-focus.
