Media notes
Adult male Grasshopper Sparrow singing Primary Song from post at gate of electric fence near barn. While singing, this male was performing the Threat Display between most songs. From BNA: "Threat Displays. In early breeding season, agonistic male gives territorial display toward neighboring males: a conspicuous wing-flutter, usually single wing, given from fixed perch, confined to periods when male not singing; also perches horizontally with head lower than back". Equipment Notes: SD 702 HPF on at 80Hz, -12dB/octave.
