Media notes
A Gray Thrasher is singing from atop a live mesquite about 20’ up, finally (at the end) flying down to the ground, where another—the presumed female—is foraging on the ground. He joins her and starts foraging. During the song, background includes: Phainopepla, N. Cardinal call notes, White-winged Dove, and Verdin. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
