Media notes
BNA: The first two-thirds or so of this recording (0:05-0:46), and 1:02 and 1:05, highlights a horn-like call that may represent the Perturbation Call of BNA (if not a "Squawk" of Gallinula chloropus; these similar to calls in ML 2805). Near the end of the recording, there are several harsh Warning Calls by Fulica (a nasal "punk-unk," possibly by a female, like calls in ML 43001) at 0:55, 0:58, and 1:03, and a single Recognition Call, apparently by a male at 1:08. The Cackle at the end of the recording was given by Gallinula chloropus (1:13-1:18). There is a "Cryptic" stop-start at 0:52. (CAM - 9 March 2005). Habitat: Edge.
