Media notes
The bird highlighted here was probably one of about 25 birds in the flock that, when seen, was initially about 25-30 meters away, and 25 meters up, apparently on the top of what may have been a deciduous Tabebuia tree but it then dropped down to another perch where I could not see it, and eventually it flew out. I managed to get relatively good looks at several of these parts before I made this recording, and mediocre looks at the bird highlighted here while I recorded it. This was recorded in taller but still somewhat scrubby forest along the road beyond the last house. Partly cloudy, quite humid, calm, and about 80° F. Equipment Notes: Sennheiser powered using phantom power and with filter in flat position and attenuator off for all recordings. Nagra input set at 2 mV / Pa and low-pass filter in flat position unless noted otherwise.
