Media notes
one song from an unseen bird (presumed male due to pitch) perched high in a tall pine tree in mixed pine-oak forest on a steep slope. The bird was singing in response to playback of the song of Fulvous Owl and the wail call of female Spotted Owl. This represents the first recording of this species.
