Media notes
NOTES: Long complete song in flight display with other snippets of song. This cut is full of handling noise. Recorded in response to repeated playbacks of its own song on tundra in the foothills of the Kigluaik Mountains on the Seward Peninsula. In response to the playback the bird came in from over 100m and gave this flight display over our heads. Recorded simultaneously by Gerrit Vyn. Sound Devices 744T with 160Hz HPF, Telinga Pro6 in flat. I've filtered this entire cut in the studio using the ZSYS z-Q2 stereo digital mastering equalizer at S-95.0 500Hz. Other Behaviors: Flush, Advertise. Habitat: Tundra, Arctic Tundra.
