NOTES: 80Hz low-cut filter on Sound Devices 744T. Various calls from single individuals and pairs perched and in flight. This recording was made along the edge of a large, mostly frozen tundra lake over the span of about thirty minutes. I paused many times to attempt getting closer and to change angles with the strong winds. These birds were quite flighty as I approached. Distant Gavia adamsii (4:35) were cut and used for LNS 131241. Number of individuals=AU4-6;. Other Behaviors: Establish Flock Contact, Flush. Habitat: Tundra, Arctic Tundra, Lake.
