NOTES: A pair of birds, one of which was slightly larger than the other, seen as they sang, initially 30-40 meters away, then 25-30 meters away, near the tops of trees right along the stream at the edge of the clearing, but about 20-30 meters away when they flew by; the two birds were always together, both when singing and when flying; when they sing, they brought the head all the way to rest it on the back and spread the wings in a somewhat cowbird-like posture; both birds sang and postured together as a duet; following playback, the birds flew by me calling and later back-and-forth repeatedly; the birds are described on tape; almost fully overcast (some mist late morning), intermittently breezy, 83-84¡ F. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Creek, Riparian, Rural, Scrub, Edge.
