NOTES: An adult seen clearly despite its being in almost constant motion, sallying about in the upper branches of trees on steep slope on opposite side of trail as the creek; the bird was 12-15 m up and initially 25 m, later 18 m, away, mostly in live oaks but with some pines; trace breeze in canyon; this is an unbroken cut with an internal announcement.
