NOTES: Song after being whistled in. Response to my whistling was a rapid and aggressive approach, far more frequent singing, and slightly shorter song; bird flew back-and-forth across the road between fragment of somewhat scrubby terra firme forest that had scattered taller trees, and young eucalypt plantation on Bahia Sul land; this cut made with bird 25 meters away and relatively high up in large tree (ca. 25 meters tall); the bird was well seen after this recording was made as it perched in the lower part of the canopy/crown (once or twice it even came quite near the ground in response to my whistling); the bird called a number of times in addition to singing; clear, calm, 75 ¡ F. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Edge, Exotic.
