Media notes
Mixed woodland. This Tchagra gave this emphatic call at least once while perching but often while on the wing. It would sing in air while flying to a different bush along the road and sing until the moment it landed. The rest of the time while perching the bird gives the one-note chuck call. HPF@200Hz. ML: Subject changed from Tchagra senegalus to T. australis at the recommendation of Oliver Burton. -Jay McGowan, 31Aug2018. Habitat: Forest, Grassland, Thicket/Brush.
