0944: in Alnus incana just NW of diversion dam.
Observation details
1 singing, a male heard and then seen from a just-leafing-out willow ca 5 m N of the stream in the very E part of reach 3. At roughly 0745, heard "chep" calls and a YRWA (the same?) flew W; I did not hear more singing after that, suggesting it was the same bird. Ca 0943, 2 YRWA flew in from upstream with high sibilant "seet" calls and then appeared to forage for ca 1 minute in 2 Alnus incana ca 10-20 m above the diversion, near the stream. Both were female AUWA; got photos of one. They then flew to shrubs ca 20 m downstream and I lost track of them. At 0948, 1 or maybe 2 YRWA flew back upstream at the diversion, ca shrub height, making rising high "seet" calls; suspected the same individual(s). At 1415 I heard a "chep" call from a YRWA flying to the W over the E part of reach 4; did not locate it but from the calls it seemed relatively low. Than at 1416 I heard and saw 2 YRWA in a leafing-out Salix N of the stream, 50 m E of the property fence. Got photos of 1, which was another male AUWA. Others listed under YRWA.
