Observation details
Including 1 *beyond property boundary*; 2 singing. At the survey beginning, saw 2 males perched in a Russian-olive NNE of the start point, ca 20 m E of the sewage pond fence; at least 1 (I think just 1?) was singing. At 0707, I heard a second RWBL singing E of the property along the creek, at the same time that one continued to sing from the sewage pond area. At roughly 0844 I heard a male RWBL calling, then saw it land in a willow ca 30 m S of the stream in the W part of reach 3, and sing repeatedly. At ca 0846, he flew to a tiny Russian-olive ca 50 m ESE of the willow along the diversion ditch and sang more, then was back singing from the willow at 0850. At 1008, 1 male flew N over the stream near the constructed wetland at ca 4x shrub height, making "chup" calls. At 1432 on the return, heard two males making 'tew" calls and then saw them perched E of reach 4 along the stream; then heard 1 sing. Did not see one in reach 3 on the return; equipment was starting to work in this area at that point.
