Observation details
1 singing briefly, from the E part of reach 4. Later, around 1018, I again encountered 2 BCCH along the creek between the constructed wetland and the rocky draw. They were apparently foraging on shrub branches, notably in a Cornus sericea, where I saw both individuals for about a minute, and 1 stayed longer. They were apparently gobbling up lots of tiny insects (which I could not see), making frequent "sip" contact calls. Continued to see and hear chickadees from time to time, apparently the same two, working their way up the stream; saw them at the upstream end of WIFL Flats at 1033.
