Observation details
First seen flying in to shrubs along the stream at the photo point at roughly 0849. Did not identify it at that point; just noted a roughly HAWO-sized bird with notable white fly in (while observing gulls). Very shortly after (while recording the gulls) I started hearing highly distinctive, nasal BLJA calls. A minute or 3 later, I located it visually, now in a Chokecherry ca 15 m N of the stream. By this point it had stopped calling. I did not see it for several minutes then, and then spotted it again at 0853, perched briefly ca 70 m E, in the E end of the Chokecherry row, very near where the male AMKE had been perched. It then flew another 80 m ESE to an alder along the creek, making no more calls.
