NOTES: Weather: WIND; VOCAL RESPONSE TO PLAYBACK NOTIMMEDIATE. THE BIRD SPENT MUCH TIME LOOKING FOR THE INTRUDER; SCUTTLING THROUGH THE UNDERBRUSH AND FLYING BACK AND FORTH OVER THE RECORDER.AFTER THE BIRD BEGAN TO SING HE WAS CONSIDERABLY LESS ACTIVE IN HIS SEARCH. Sex: 1 UNKNOWN LNS: Changed from T. solstitialis to T. rufociliatus to reflect the current taxonomic treatment of this group. -Matt Medler, 27 July 2009. Sound stimulation was (other): PLAYBACK. Habitat: Cloudforest, Second-growth, Edge.
