Observation details
Sitting on power pole on Badger Pocket Road across from the feedlot where the peregrine has been the last couple of months. A prairie (richardsonii) female on power pole usually occupied by the peregrine. Thanks to Brian Pendleton who I ran into later--he asked me if it was male or female. I had a "duh" moment but checked my books and see that it clearly is a female with no gray/blue on her back. Thanks Brian, I learn something every time I meet another birder!!
