Observation details
Both adults about 20 minutes apart in the midst of a tremendous movement of BOGU on the leading edge of a big nor'easter. The first bird was past me before I keyed in on it but going away I was able to see the black underwing, the narrow white trailing edge wrapping around the wingtip, rounded wing, and smaller size compared to BOGU but was unable to get a photo. The second bird flew right over my head and while I had my camera stashed in the car to protect it from rain I was able to pull it out, but by then I had lost where the bird was so I just sprayed the entire flock and got identifiable but predictably crappy shots. These are not however my worst ever LIGU photos!
