Observation details
Target Species. Spotted from Cell 3 and 4 on the Vermet Unit, Southwest Corner near the Snow Geese at about 230 PM. After spending well over an hour sifting through rafts of foraging ducks, my patience paid off. Medium-sized dabbling duck with blue bill, red head with a pale stripe on forehead. Pink sides. Mixed with flock of Redhead and American Wigeon. I observed this duck through my scope for nearly 20 minutes. Distant photos taken.
