Observation details
2 Eastern Yellow Wagtails at Hexham this morning at -32.867300, 151.682961 at about 8.30 am. Unfortunately the spot they were at is not along the old pipeline track but rather a little way along Fisheries creek west of the southern end of the old pipeline track. I was kayaking along Fisheries creek when I flushed them. I don't know whether it is possible to walk along the creek to get nearer to this point, but it would certainly be a wet and muddy walk. A few times they briefly perched up in the clumps of dead trees on the southern side of Fisheries creek visible to the west from the end of the old pipeline track.
