Perched in Cedar on Willis St
Observation details
Surprised and delighted to see a Peregrine Falcon hunting in central Frankston. First seen after hearing some very strident Noisy Minor alarm calls. Falcon swooped in over Community Garden and attempted a kill on a feral pigeon. Disappeared behind some trees. Reappeared a minute or so later and perched for over half an hour in a nearby Cedar tree(Willis St). Had time to go get camera and take shots. It eventually took flight again and did a number of low hunting circuits over and around garden. It then moved on.
