Media notes
An individual Woodhouse's Scrub-Jay was calling in the middle of a juniper patch. A separate scrub-jay flushed from this spot just a moment ago and this one hopped up onto a juniper and went back down. Throughout the recording it is "mumbling" a call note. A Black-billed Magpie can be heard in the background.
Observation details
Since Woodhouse's Scrub-Jays are not cooperative breeders, I assumed there to be two distinct pairs on the south and northeastern edges of the park.
