NOTES: Male seen singing at apparent nesting colony with three completed nests and two under completion, all near a hornet's nest at top of dead snag over swamp. Singing bird (presumably a male) apparently larger than others (likely females). Bird sang primarily when females visited colony, when it sang above the nest that the female had entered. Display involved hunching the back, and thus exposing the rump, bending the head down, and quivering the wings. Bird was 15 m away and about 12 m above the water. Mostly overcast, but clouds beginning to break up; low 70s. Copied with HPF@200 Hz. Other Behaviors: Mimicry, Advertise, Court, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Freshwater, Swamp, Pond.
