NOTES: Song after whistled imitation, in response to which it may have approached slighlty. Unseen at the time, but seen soon thereafter as it sat on open branch 3 1/2-4 m up; it was about 25 m away. Singing in really scrubby area with scattered trees 3-4 m tall over 1 1/2 m tall grass. No real display, but tilts head upwards and opens bill when it sings. Scattered, high clouds; 75-78¡ F.
