Media notes
NOTES: Apparently the same bird as cut #98RDAT03-02 after playback of itself; if not, then bird in background of that cut. Recorded 1 1/2+ km in from river along road through forest. Bird was now in about 15 m away and 8-10 m up in subcanopy. In resonse to tape playback, bird silently came in 5-6 m up in open branches; it called occasionally and eventually began singing again. A male that was well seen pumping tail as it sang. Second bird heard in distance. Songs similar to those on "Songs of the Antbirds" CD set. Mike attenuators on and using Benchmark MicMan Jr. preamp with Sennheiser ME-64 microphone in 24" Roche parabola. Copied with HPF@180 Hz. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest.
