NOTES: Copied using HPF@180 Hz. An odd call for which ID was confirmed from tape by Kevin J. Zimmer. Pair present in immediate vicinity that was heard singing at end of cut; unseen at the time, but apparently 3 m up and 6 m away at edge of strip of second-growth lining road through mature forest; almost fully overcast, calm, upper 70s. ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Ramphastos tucanus cuvieri to Ramphastos tucanus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
