Observation details

Immature male Calliope Hummingbird was observed at the hummingbird feeders at the Hawk Watch platform. First observed and photographed at 10:37 am as a short-tailed small hummingbird, the bird was observed repeatedly at the feeders over the morning and afternoon. The photograph was reviewed on the platform on my laptop by observers at the platform, including Dane Ferrell and Kevin Karlson.
