NOTES: MID-MORNING. A SAD DESCENDING TRILL OFTEN REPEATED AT SHORT INTERVALS. BIRD SAT STILL. SOMEWHAT VENTRILOQUIAL AND BIRDS ARE HARD TO SEE AMONG TREE LEAVES. RECORDER WAS STOPPED BRIEFLY AT 28 SEC; 31 SEC; AND 50 SEC FROM START. SMALL FLOCK OF PLATYCERCUS ELEGANS CHATTERING NEARLY THROUGHOUT THE CUT; ESPECIALLY NOTICEABLE AROUND 40 SEC.
