NOTES: Background: MELITHREPTUS BREVIROSTRIS (RATTLING SONG); B.Z. SEMITORQUATUS. DURING THE SEQUENCE THE PARROTS WERE TAPED ON THEGROUND, IN SHORT FLIGHTS, AND RESTING INOPEN TREES. HABITAT WAS NEARLY LEVEL, LIGHTLY WOODED. A SMALL STREAM,PRESENTLY ALMOST DRY, BUT WITHMANY BUSHES ON ONE SIDE OF THE GRAVEL ROAD, PASTURE ON THE OTHER. Sex: 2-8 UNKNOWN. Habitat: Forest, Creek, Park/Campus/Cemetery.
