Observation details
Distant, circling huge dark raptors. Short tail, long rectangular wings with prominent long 'fingers'. Made distinctive motion where it bent both wings down 90 degrees. On one bird, when it turned to catch the light well, scope views showed bright white long axillary patches on the underwing and small white patches on the upperwing. These were not obvious on the other bird (presumably a younger bird), which also had a white (or whitish) wing tag at rhe leading edge of the right wing (unreadable). Could not make out head color on either bird due to distance and suboptimal lighting. Distant photos.
