NOTES: Sony TCD-D10 ProII HPF on. -20 dB pad on. Sequence of "ka-dik" calls and sounds from the bird walking around in the marsh. Belted Kingfisher flies by at 12'40". [This recording contains one long series of the "tick-it" call of BNA. Given that this recording is only 18 seconds long (including announcement), and there is no Belted Kingfisher in this part, I'm not sure of the significance of the remark above about this species. Maybe only a portion of the recording was copied [??] Quality changed from ~2 to 2-1 - CAM - 8 April 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Emit Alarm. Habitat: Wetland, Freshwater, Pond, Hedgerow.
