calling spontaneously from among Canada Goose flock; loudest call at 0:11, second call at 0:18, with traffic noise in background from bridge. A goat-like murmur call at 0:28.5-0:29 could be another call from this bird or from a Canada Goose.
***rare; continuing county first found yesterday by Glenn d’Entremont right on river at SE side of bridge off small park; photos; have a loud sequence of 8 calls, spaced out, with the last two audio recorded: like a Greater White-front but hoarder and squeakier, with notes less well-defined; close scope views of bird’s right side could be useful for future individual identification: entirely pink between nostril and dark nail with some jagged pink along cutting edge of maxilla almost to base, no orbital ring at all
