Observation details

Even though call notes were easily heard, actually seeing the birds and ascertaining numbers of individuals was challenging. Most birds were heard in flight. Three distinctive flight calls were heard: "jip-jip-jip"; a higher call resembling "jeep-jeep-jeep"; and "toop" notes. One bird was heard singing.
