Observation details
Presumed 2nd-cycle Herring x Glaucous Gull hybrid, based on size, overall pale whitish color, pale bill with dark tip but tip not quite as clean-cut as on a pure Glaucous, pale-to-medium-brown wingtips, and brownish tail. Willing to be talked out of it, but seems to match the bird in Photo H3.11 on p. 287 of Howell & Dunn, Gulls of the Americas. Photos.
