NOTES: (Background Sounds: wind in aspens; Species Sound: infrequent; Social Contact: family?, colony?; Species Sound: infrequent; Social Contact: family?, colony?; Breeding Status: not territorial, not breeding; Behavioral Context: courtship?, mating invitation?, mate contact?; General Climate: arid; Cover Density: sparse; Strata in Habitat: both low flight and high flight noted) [The first half of this recording represented series of "Churr" Calls (0:04-0:11, 0:24-0:25 (possibly the final call of a series, most of which was missed), and 0:45-0:51; terminology following Bock et al. 1971, BNA). The vocalizations became more varied in second half with a combination of "Churr" and "Alarm" Calls during an observed copulation, series of "Alarm" Calls at 1:41-1:46 and 1:57-2:01, and a more rapid "twittering" series that may have represented "Alarm" Calls (this similar to a vocalization in LNS #80345, but quality not as good).
