Observation details
Great views by all of an adult in flight in CT waters 09:35. Medium-sized gull with small all-black “dipped in ink” wingtips, all yellow bull, dark vertical smudge behind eyes. Photos. Another or the same adult seen well, and photographed, in flight in NY waters 11:35-11:38. Being conservative, we assume it was the same bird, and thus count just one.
