Observation details
Ryan Merrill spotted two on the water behind the fishing boat sitting with a couple Black-footed Albatross, seen well by nearly everyone around and in view for around 5 minutes, one circled right off the port side of the bow so was one of the closer birds observed during the cruise, after these two took flight another was observed behind the fishing boat with 5 more Laysans and 35 BFAL - almost certainly a third individual though I don't believe all three were seen at once (?).
