Observation details
Obvious stub-tailed wren (see photo). Heard call notes over the course of about 20 minutes, and they sounded like dry chips reminiscent of Wilson's Warbler, as distinct from Winter Wren. Mediocre recording obtained on iPhone. Found 2.7 miles from parking area, about 10 minutes walk past the box canyon that is above the reservoir. Lat-long: 35.8933, -106.36484.
