Observation details
Continuing rarity found by Rick Bowers on 11/26. Seen in about same location-2nd -3rd bench as you walk in from Ruby Road. Can also be accessed via other entrance off Arivaca Rd by walking the Cienega Trail by taking the right at the fork when the cement ends, then following until you reach the trail for the Willow Pond Viewing area. Make a right onto the Willow Pond Trail. It was within about 25 feet of this intersection, in with about 8 White-crowned Sparrows, favoring low thorny bushes just off trail. Shows yellow supraloral, white throat, dark malar stripe, striped head.
