NW of trail). This cut contains 121 songs, the latter few from a second, more distant perch. There are also a few calls that are either of this species or Campylorhamphus trochilirostrus (which was also present). The bird began singing at 5:25 in a tree off 4100 m. and 100 m. into forest, then it switched positions at about 5:28 to the perch used here. Finally, it switched again at 5:42 towards 4000 m., where he sang only briefly. Began singing again at 5:45 m. [sic] about 3950 m. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
