Observation details
Basic plumaged female. Clean buffy-orange breast with fine streaking on the sides and flanks, but lacking any streaking on the center of the breast. I would expect more streaking in the middle of the breast and coarser streaking on the sides/flanks for a 1st year male Rose-breasted. The buffy color on the underside extended onto the belly and vent. Pale cinnamon on the throat. Buffy nape with buffy-white crown stripe. Upper mandible slightly darker than lower mandible most evident in the first photo. Also in the first photo, it appears there's a hint of yellow at the armpit not red or pink. Photos were taken in full sun with bright light and are a little overexposed. I'm visiting from Illinois and familiar with Rose-breasted. Less so with Black-headed, but I've seen a few.
