Contains nine short calls and one long call from close range, along with 14 short and one long call from a greater distance. An attempt to record X. guttatus around the lodge grounds on the morning of 24 July was totally unsuccessful. I heard a couple of long calls and a partial song beginning at 5:43 a.m. No birds were within 100 meters of me, however, Minimal amount of calling this morning. Number of individuals=AU2+;. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
