LOW, BRUSHY FIELD 0.2KM FROM LAKE NEXT TO COTTAGES. HOSTILE RESPONSE TO PLAYBACK. 1 MALE(S).; Other recordist(s): BONDESEN, POUL. ML: Subject changed from Empidonax alnorum to E. minimus based on the recommendation of Nacho Areta, who reviewed and analyzed Empidonax calls and noted that the call in this recording matches the call heard in ML 63954, which contains both this call and the diagnostic "che-bek" song of E. minimus. -Matt Medler, 5 August 2014. Sound stimulation was (other): PLAYBACK SAME SPECIES. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Scold. Habitat: Lake.
