Observation details
Was wondering why I saw so many pheasants flying around; Lehigh Fish and Game were conducting a release in the area. Ran into one of the teams which released 42 birds in the fields to the north of the parking area while I watched and took photos. About 10% of the released birds were dark plumaged, almost black but iridescent.
