American Tree Sparrow
Observation details
This bird had a bright rusty cap, very light gray breast with light streaks and a black spot. The bird was constantly moving, constant flicking its tail. Its upper bill was gray, lower was yellow-orange. It had a white eye ring, gray cheek, dark line through the eye, gray above the dark line but white by the bill in front of the eye. It had a white wing bar and rufous and black markings on the wings, a rufous wash along the sides, a dark gray tail with white edges and dark legs. This bird was with the WTSP and all 3 were chased away from one group of trees by a squirrel.
