NOTES: Range Status: Normal, highly endangered. The first 11:21 of this recording were taped on the morning of 27Oct1974. Zosterops b. mauritiana is heard on the cut clearly (interacting with Z. chloronothus). This cut contains most of the vocal rep. of this species but the SONG per se is seldom heard. Field assistant Ms. Annick Pelicier France Staub was with us this day in the morning. The rest of this recording (after 11:21 run time) were taped in the afternoon beginning at 1545 in the same place, same individiuals chases "conspecifics" also congeners and the F. rubra etc. One very "close" section of Z. b. mauritiana is included. A chloronothus was interacting and supplanting them.Ê. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
