Single bird first seen perching in several streamside shrubs above the raised hill. I also observed a (the same?) TOSO fly down to a branch immediately above the water in this area and drink at least 3 times in a row, dipping its beak and then lifting its head up again. Shortly after this, I observed a TOSO again perched in a shrub along the stream, singing very quietly - "whisper song." Later, I briefly saw 2 TOSO perched in close vicinity along the creek between the diversion and the rocky draw. After that, I saw 1 bird fly over from upstream, then S from the diversion to perch on a wire near a house along Birdseye Rd. Later, I saw a TOSO (same bird?) momentarily perch along the stream in reach 3, then fly N to perch beyond the property in the top of 1 of 2 adjacent Juniperus scopulorum.
