NOTES: (Bkground Sounds: Pycnonotus jocosus (is with the white-eye on several occasions). Breeding Status: Territorial paired, breeding. Behav. Context: Nectar defense and song phrases.) 12:30 to roosting at 1840. All calls-songs of this afternoon uttered by this species are included on this cut. The population here was sparse to it is likely that the same individual/s were coming back to the focal flowering Siderzylon, the ends of which they worked over also gleaning insects. The "pair" I was noting each time (likely the same) roosted at 1840. Annotation describes this and the calls are heard. They dropped down LOW into the brush and the calls buzzy/scratchy came from LOW near ground level.
